Beautiful and ornate, but with molding and walls painted bright white, and awesome wood floors with little clutter, a person could walk right through these arches and never notice the gorgeous details.
The "bones" of a house are the most important to me. When the day comes that Jon and I are house hunting, I'll be focusing on those details: molding, floors, windows, doors, ceilings, etc. The kind of custom work that is most commonly found in old houses.
If they painted the ceiling or walls between these two arches, it would look like a little jewel box. So very cool . . .
